The Whitney Plantation:  The Impact of Slavery in the US on Clinical Work

This panel includes a virtual tour and introduction to the Whitney Plantation, the only museum dedicated to slavery in the US, by its owner and operator, John Cummings. Following this presentation, two psychoanalysts will speak about the legacy of slavery at the individual, cultural, and societal levels, and, in particular, engage in a discussion of how slavery extends to our daily work in the consulting room and beyond.
